Hi Clare and Gary
I am very upset to read this and know that this report is cruelly unfair and not a true reflection of Baytree.
You offer a true home from home feeling, Hallie started when she was 11 months old as did Albie. Since then they have both thrived and run into nursery without saying goodbye most mornings. How wonderful for us to know as parents that our children feel safe, loved and have lots of fun whilst we work. That’s really hard to find.
My cousins also attended Baytree 22 years ago, you have a great reputation across Middleton and surrounding areas that goes back years.
The issues mentioned in the report feel very over critical for what they are and most of them are minor quick fixes that seem blown out of proportion or otherwise really aren’t an issue.
You, Gary and all of the staff at Baytree work so hard and you have our full support.
I know our children feel safe and love coming to Baytree which speaks volumes.

Hi Clare and Gary
This is so upsetting, and I feel this inspector has been extremely unfair and basically “nitpicked” at such minor issues. As you are well aware, all 3 of my children have attended and I wouldn’t have had them anywhere else, in fact, as you know, I even decided on holding off on sending J to school nursery because I love him being there so much. You are all like his extended family and he loves being there and the care he receives is second to none. I don’t have to worry one bit whilst I am in work knowing he is in nursery.
I hope I speak for every parent when I say we are all behind you and know you will get your “good” back. You have worked so hard over the years building the nursery up to what I believe is a brilliant setting with an amazing team.

Just following up from my email and felt it important to share with everyone.
My thoughts really do go out to you and the rest of the team as I understand how damaging Ofsted reports can be. Especially when they are not a true reflection.
I am more than satisfied with your response and you have our full support going forwards. As mentioned, all of my children have attended Baytree and I have never had any issues. Hence the reason I felt it appropriate to give you the opportunity to respond.

N doesn’t even say good bye when I drop him off he loves coming to nursery and his coat is off before the door is even open. I don’t need to read the Ofsted report to know that all the staff at Baytree do everything they can to make sure all the children are well looked after, learn and most importantly have fun.

Dear Clare and Gary
Reading this made me so upset for you and the staff. Both my children have been looked after by your team and I trust and know how amazing you are. On the day I spoke with one of the inspectors and gave nothing but praise as your care and support. I really can’t believe what some of the comments are and agree that I feel they have been extremely picky. I am sorry to hear this and I know your team will rise above this and return to your Good rating as soon as possible.
